Darrel G. Wakefield, 57, of Cheyenne died Sept. 18th in Cheyenne.
He was born November 14, 1958 in Onida, SD.
Darrel served in the United States Navy.
He was a skilled carpenter and artist. He enjoyed taking old items and repurposing them into art.
Darrel is survived by his parents, Ruth (Don) Nelson and Lyle (Betty) Wakefield; three children, Ben Moore, Camille Staples, and April Daniels; four siblings, Collens Wakefield, Aron Wakefield, Twyla Wakefield and Linda (Bob) Schrawyer and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Wakefield.
Life Commemoration services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Interment of his urn will follow at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
