Darlene Eldridge, 73, of Cheyenne passed away from complications related to Alzheimers Disease on December 27, 2023 in Cheyenne.
Darlene was born on July 21, 1950 in Durango, Colorado.
Darlene, a cherished friend to many, would spend hours conversing over coffee with anyone who dropped by her office or home. Possessing a strong work ethic herself, she instilled in her children the value of hard work in both favorable and challenging circumstances. She imparted essential values like good manners, eating with one's mouth closed, and treating others with respect to her own children and those she babysat. Darlene’s life revolved around serving her children, always ready with a beaming smile to assist them, regardless of her personal challenges. Managing the family trucking company for numerous years, Darlene's enduring relationships with load brokers and businesses in the region were the linchpin that kept the company running. Her infectious laughter, capable of making others burst into laughter as well, will be a lasting memory for many.
