Daniel (Dan) Eugene Patterson, 69, lost his battle with cancer on February 16, 2024 with his family by his side in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
A former resident of Cheyenne, Casper, and Billings, Montana, he left behind his wife of 36 years, Joyce: two sons, Charles Francis of Cheyenne and Daniel Ivan of Billings; an only granddaughter, Riverlynn Jean Patterson; only surviving brother, Don (Dee) Patterson of Cheyenne; and several relatives throughout the country.
Dan lived a full life. His smile and attitude made everyone in the room smile, he was the most kindhearted individual and always looked after his friends and family.
He was dedicated to his craft of remanufacturing drill bits and was one of only a few people in the world that could work on them the way he did.
He was an avid fisherman, and his sons caught that same passion from him as well. He loved life and loved making everyone in it smile and laugh. He will be missed more than he would have ever known. The people that met him were forever changed for the good.
Daniel Eugene Patterson will be remembered for lifetimes and never forgotten.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosie and Vic Stugelmayer and Harold Patterson; brother, William (Bill) Patterson; and a nephew, Drew Patterson.
Private family graveside services have been held.
