Dan C. “DC” Stile, 70, of Cheyenne, died Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
He was born August 26, 1945 in Watonga, Oklahoma, a son of Jack and Ruth Stile. He moved with his family at a young age to Cheyenne where he attended schools and graduated from Central High School. He was employed as a pipefitter with the local Pipefitter’s Union #192 for many years until his retirement.
DC married Virginia Zuniga on June 10, 1989 in Cheyenne.
He served in the National Guard for many years and was a member of the American Legion Post #6 and the local Pipefitter’s Union #192. Dan started the local toy run in Cheyenne and was known as Santa.
Survivors include his wife Virginia of Cheyenne; son, Estevan Trujillo of Cheyenne; daughters, Cecilia Trujillo of Cheyenne; and Ida Grover of Laurel, Montana; he is also survived by his four grandsons.
Life Commemoration Services will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Military Honors to follow.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Legion.
