Dale L. Madariaga of Cheyenne, WY passed away peacefully at the age of 67, on December 22nd, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Angel and Alice Madariaga, and his sister Janice (Ronald “Bud”) Clements and nephew Ronald M. Clements Jr. He is survived by his niece Michelle Clements, nephew Robert “Bobby” Clements, and many great and great-great nieces and nephews, as well as his neighbors and friends. He was an Army Veteran and Truck Driver, as well as an amazing man who never knew a stranger. He was known in the community as a caring and generous person. Dale was kind and polite to all, a hard-working private man throughout his life and a volunteer for all of those less fortunate, elderly, or disabled. He spent holidays volunteering at the local soup kitchen and was devoted to spending his free time helping and visiting those who were in need, ill, or dying. Dale was known for having very individual private relationships with those closest to him, your discussions with him were his secrets.
Dale loved simple things like the NY Times, National Geographic, and debating politics with those around him. His hobbies included playing his guitars, music, reading, fishing, camping, and never sitting still. He was constantly staying busy. Those who were lucky enough to have known him, know that there was not much he wouldn’t do for his family and close friends. While he may be gone in body, he will forever live on in our hearts, and in spirit.
