Dakota Lynn Oulman, 18, of Cheyenne, died on Friday, December 28, 2018 in Colorado.
Dakota was a bright and beautiful spirit who was taken too soon. Dakota had Type 1 Diabetes and enjoyed spending her summers at Camp Hope where she made many lasting friendships. Dakota did not let her Diabetes define her. As a child she enjoyed entering beauty pageants and gymnastics. She had a passion for animals and horses and rode in Gymkhanas. She loved the outdoors and outdoor activities such as camping, hiking and fishing. Music guided her spirit and she loved to sing and to listen to music of all genres. Dakota was a good sister to her 3 brothers, which is never an easy task. Dakotas smile could light up any room and her presence was always welcome. Dakota was always a reliable friend with a kind heart. Dakota will be missed by her surviving family and friends.
Memorial services will be Friday, 2:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. A reception will follow at The Gathering Place.
A Celebration of Dakota's Life will be Saturday, 3:00 p.m., at The Wagon Wheel at Terry Bison Ranch.
