Cynthia Lee "Cindy" White

Cynthia (Cindy) Lee White, 81, of Cheyenne, died peacefully on October 15, 2023 at the Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne with a friend by her side.
She was born on September 19, 1942 in Springfield, Illinois to parents William and Anita Conner, had a son, Sean Pregent, from her first marriage, and married the love of her life, Roy White in 1978.
Cindy lived and worked in many places. She had four careers: as a Kindergarten teacher; with the Red Cross Vietnam Service during the war; 30 years at the National Institutes of Health in MD; and as Associate Pastor at First Christian Church in Cheyenne where she led the Senior Ministry for many years. She was actively involved in the Cheyenne and Crystal Lake communities that she loved so much. Cindy had numerous interests. She was a Past Matron of an Eastern Star Chapter in MD, member of the Harmony #53 Chapter Order of the Eastern Star in Cheyenne, member of Cowgirls of the West and loved all things “Cowgirl.” She collected eagles, angels and crosses, and loved music and dancing. Cindy never knew a stranger, showed love and compassion for everyone she met, and was a bright star in the lives of all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Sean Pregent of Maryland and by her many friends in Cheyenne and across the U.S.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, William and Anita Conner and her husband, Roy White. Services will be Monday, October 30th, 10:00a.m., at First Christian Church, 219 West 27th St, Cheyenne. The service will be Live streamed at https://www.youtube.com/@firstchristianchurchcheyen114/streams Interment will be October 31st, 10:00a.m., at the Cheyenne National Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Funeral Home in Cheyenne.
