Connie Lesa (Yeadon) Bartow, 53, of Wheatland, passed away July 9th at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, from acute liver failure of unknown origin. Autopsy report is pending.
Lesa was born August 6, 1960 in Wheatland to Connie (Dawson) Stivason and Henry Yeadon, Jr.
She is survived by her parents; children, Lindsey (Carlie) Hampton of Denver, Colorado, Amanda Bartow of Kimball, Nebraska, and Tyler Bartow of Gillette; grandchildren, Cameron and Caleb of Kimball, Summer Rae of Denver; sister, Toni (Mike) Quillen of Cheyenne; grandmother, Leota (Dawson) Throckmorton of Wheatland as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Michael in 1976; brother, Sonny in 2008; infant grandson, Lincoln in 2010; fraternal grandparents; maternal grandfather, Everett Dawson; uncles, Charles and George Yeadon, Bill Atterbury, and cousins, Rex Dawson and Donnie Yeadon.
She married David Gillespie in 1976, later divorcing. She married Roger Bartow in 1985, and later divorced. Lesa spent her entire life in Wheatland, raising her children and working various jobs, most recently at the Sinclair Station, Laramie Peak Veterinary Clinic, and Platte County Nursing Home. She enjoyed making crafts, yard work, raising dogs and spending time with her grandchildren.
Graveside memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 19th at the Wheatland Cemetery with Pastor Marlin Driskell officiating. A reception will follow in the Community Room at Platte Valley Bank.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
