Clarice Ann Nelson

September 24, 1943 — October 15, 2020

Clarice Ann (David) Nelson, 77, of Cheyenne went to be with Jesus on October 15, 2020. Clarice was born September 24th, 1943 in Cheyenne to Roy E. and Gladys (Soderstrand) David.
Clarice was a student at East High School and was a member of the first graduating class in 1961. She was joined in holy matrimony to Charles E. Nelson and together they had two daughters, Shalon and Susan. Clarice went to cosmetology school, waitressed, and most of all, was a wonderful mother to the jewels of her life, her two girls, doing everything she could for them. She had an unwavering faith in God, had a huge heart, looked out for everyone in her life, and would give more than she had to help others. She loved her bingo nights and loved going to the casino with her daughters. She always enjoyed getting her hair done and had the best style with her jewelry and outfits. Clarice also enjoyed giving to charity with her favorites being Saint Jude’s and the ASPCA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles, and nieces Marguerite and Laura. She is survived by her sister Betty Estes of Cheyenne, her daughters Shalon Nelson and Susan (Justin) Fuller of Amarillo; her grandchildren, Austin Brown of Cheyenne, Noelle Brown, Christopher, Travers, and Taylor Fuller of Amarillo, and Isabella Rivera of Colorado Springs. She is also survived by her nieces, Bonnie Schreiber of Cheyenne, Yvonne Queen of Florida, Melinda (Dennis) Graham of Cheyenne, and Mary Stengel of Cheyenne, her nephews Norman Estes of Florida, James Estes of Pine Bluffs, her great nieces Sheila Worth, Angela (Marc) Blanchard, Carrie Olsen, Jeri (Mike) Estes, Laci Lovato, Brittany Weaver, and Stephanie Cooper, and great nephews Charles Schreiber, Brandon (Sheena) Graham, and James Estes Jr.
