Clarence Dale “Charlie” Brown, 86, of Cheyenne, died on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 in Cheyenne.
He was born on November 11, 1931 in North Loup, Nebraska and had lived here since 1961.
Charlie served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, the AMVETS. Charlie enjoyed travelling and sightseeing with his friend Joyce Thompson. He also enjoyed spending time with his family playing cards and taking weekend trips to the Flying X Ranch. He is survived by his children, Jim Brown of Cheyenne, Joni Utnage (Bill) of Champagne, Illinois, Greg Brown of Cheyenne, and Juli Morris (Rodney) of Sierra Vista, Arizona; five grandchildren, Justin Brown, Amber Hall, Alex Brown, Nick Brown, and Addison Morris; and two great-grandchildren, Hudson and Sloane, and his best friend Joyce Thompson.
Charlie was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Brown on September 28, 2011; seven sisters; and his parents, Alex and Jennie Brown.
Life Commemoration Services will be Monday, 11:00 a.m., at Our Savior Lutheran Church.
