Chuck Laycock, age 61, was born and raised in Cheyenne Wyoming and died at home on Friday, November 24, 2017. He attended Cheyenne area schools and was in the Army.
He had been married several times during his life but was currently divorced.
Chuck loved fishing, tinkering, collecting and Oldies/Country music but mostly really enjoyed helping others when he was able to do that. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t take apart, recycle or dismantle, although it might be doubtful if he’d ever put it back together in the same way.
He was a member of the Western Hills Ward of the LDS church.
Chuck is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents on both sides of his family, and two ex-wives, Rae Ann and Kay Lynn.
He is remembered and loved by his sister Linda and brother Billy of Cheyenne, his daughter Rhonda last known to be in Utah, his Aunt Lee and her family, his nieces, Becky [her children Savannah and Heather- great-nieces] and Lori [her children Ashleigh and Lexi great-nieces] and numerous cousins.
He will be missed by his childhood friend & fishing buddy, John Wright.
Cremation has taken place and private family services will be held at a later date, probably next spring.
The family would like to thank the directors and staff of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Funeral Home for all their care and assistance at this difficult time.
Donations can be made in his memory to the charity of choice to benefit military veterans.
A small private family gathering will be held.
