Christyn Janay Gray

Christyn Janay Gray, 30, of Cheyenne, passed at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, March 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Christyn was born on January 7, 1995, in Greeley Colorado to Chris and Amy Gray.

Christyn was employed at Paris West restaurant, and formerly at Outback Steakhouse in Cheyenne as a server and bartender. Christyn enjoyed being with her sisters, Erika and Tristyn, and also her son, Nicholas. She loved doing things with her sisters like hair, makeup, and nails. She also loved to cook, and was always trying to perfect her grandmother Martha’s tamale recipe. Christyn loved to go swimming, bowling, and eating at her favorite place, Wingstop.

She is survived by her mother and father, Chris and Amy; son, Nicholas James; 3 sisters, Erika Janelle Hernandez, Jessica Nicole Hernández, and Tristyn Ann Gray; grandfather, Edward (Linda) Shockley; nephews, Caleb Sanchez and Diego Corriveau; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and close personal friends

Christyn was preceded in death by grandparents, Richard and Martha Gray and Janice and James Lumsden; and a niece, Mia Ann

Services will be held April 12, at 2 pm at The American legion post 6
