Cheryl Jean Hauer, a beloved homemaker and devoted family member, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2025, in Carpenter, Wyoming. Born on February 18, 1953, in Ionia, Michigan, Cheryl lit up the lives of many with her generous spirit and unwavering love.
Cheryl was a nurturing wife to her Husband, Kevin Hauer, and a dedicated mother to her six beautiful children: Moniet Hauer, Brianna Bunting, Heather Ferrera, Marissa Hauer, Desirae Hauer and Nick Hauer, 7 Grandchildren and 1 Great-grand son. Her home was a sanctuary filled with laughter, love, and the warmth of family, where she shared countless cherished moments with them. Cheryl’s love knew no bounds as she instilled values of kindness and resilience in each of them.
She was also a loving sister to numerous brothers and sisters, who shared a special bond filled with memories only siblings can create. Together, they laughed, cried, and supported each other through life’s ups and downs.
While her parents, Gerald and Helen Martin, preceded her in death, their loving memories will always remain in the hearts of those she left behind. Cheryl’s family will forever carry forward her legacy of love, compassion, and strength.
Cheryl's journey in life was marked by grace and generosity. She embraced her role as a homemaker with pride, creating a nurturing environment where her family could thrive. Her warmth and kindness extended beyond her household; she was a friend to many, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a laugh.
Cheryl's impact on the lives she touched will not be forgotten. A graveside service will be held in her honor at Carpenter Cemetery in Carpenter, Wyoming, on March 10, 2025, with the graveside service beginning at 2:00 p.m. It will be a time for family and friends to gather together to reflect on the beautiful moments they shared with Cheryl, celebrating a remarkable life filled with love and devotion.
Cheryl Jean Hauer will be dearly missed, but her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all those who loved her.
