Charlyne McIrvin, 88, of Cheyenne passed away May 7th in Cheyenne.
She was born November 21, 1929 in Wheatland and graduated from LaGrange High School in 1947.
Charlyne worked for the City of Cheyenne for 25 years, retiring in 1994.
She married Lyle McIrvin on September 11, 1994 in Cheyenne.
Charlyne enjoyed crocheting for her family and she especially enjoyed dancing with Lyle, they were known to clear the dance floor as everyone stopped to watch them together.
She is survived by her husband, Lyle McIrvin; three daughters, Deborah (Michael) Bailey, Patricia (Michael)Miller, and Pamela Pell; three step-children, Michael (Sharon) McIrvin, Matthew (Sheri) McIrvin and Monette (Ed) Bulstrode; six grandchildren, Jeff (Barbara) Horton, Michael “Toad” (Jennifer) Miller, Riley Null, Tammy (Bernard) Bartlett, Lynsey Graves, and Lisa (Scott) Kubelka; sixteen great-grandchildren, Josh, Jace, Michelle, Charlyne, Abby, Zachary, Hunter, Lukas, Emma, Claire, Hannah, Brooklyn, Gavin, William, Bailey, and Colby; 6 step-great-grandchildren, Eli, Jesse, Melissa, Morgan, Ed, & Lila and four great-great-grandchildren, Heather, Vivy, Fox, and Pyke.
Charlyne was preceded in death by her first husband, Earnest Troyer; parents, Charley and Norma Lovercheck; brother, Dean Lovercheck and a granddaughter, Bobbi Ann Miller; step-daughter, Michelle McIrvin and son-in-law, Michael Pell.
Life Commemoration services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel with a reception to follow at The Gathering Place. Burial of her urn will take place in the LaGrange Cemetery.
