Charlotte Ehernberger, 75, died at home on June 17, 2014 in Cheyenne and is now in heaven.
She was born to John and Avis (Wynne) Atkinson on May 4, 1939 in Kimball, Nebraska. She graduated from Egbert High School in Wyoming. On June 27, 1957 Charlotte married Edward “Butch” Ehernberger. Charlotte made Cheyenne her home. She had many friends, loved to shop, and was active in her religion and church. Charlotte lived a busy life cheering on her kids and grandkids at sporting events. She held her newest great-grandson two days before passing. Charlotte loved holidays and made them special for everyone. Her caramels and peanut butter cookies will be missed. Charlotte taught her family to live each day as if it were your last and to do unto others as you would have them to do unto you.
Charlotte is survived by husband, Butch, of nearly 57 years; daughters Karen Smith (Lauren); and Kelly Brittain (Rick); grandchildren Tiffany Jones (Mike), Robby Brittain, and Tawny Smith; great-grandchildren Caitlyn and Alyson Jones, and Broxton Brittain; and brother Tom Atkinson (Sharon).
Charlotte was preceded by her parents and son, Larry Ehernberger.
Private family services will be held.
