Charlotte Dawn Brown, 83, of Cheyenne, died on June 30, 2023 in Cheyenne.
She was born on November 5, 1939 in Jerome, Idaho.
Charlotte graduated from Jerome High School as Valedictorian with high honors. She continued to excel, obtaining her business degree in San Diego. She worked as a court reporter, a school loan officer, and CEO of several businesses. Although she was an incredibly hard worker and excelled in business, her highest and greatest honor has always been that of mother to her 4 children. Charlotte married the love of her life, Douglas Mitchell Brown, and they shared 66 beautiful years together. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and has served in numerous callings throughout her life. She was an avid reader and loved learning. Charlotte lived her whole life doing daily acts of selfless service. She was always lifting, inspiring and loving others deeply. The touch of her tender hands was far reaching and never to be forgotten. She was fun and made others laugh and smile. One of her life's mottos was, "You need to laugh at least one time every hour." Her most treasured possessions were her beloved husband, Douglas, and her family.
She is survived by – her three children, Christopher (Laura), Heather (James), and Thaddeus (Raylene).
Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas, and daughter, Michele.
