Charles Michael “Charlie” Swainson, 57, of Cheyenne, passed away on November 15, 2022.
He was born on March 18, 1965 in Cheyenne.
Charlie worked for Richardson Construction for 20 years and most recently with JEI Construction. He loved hunting, fishing, camping and tending to his own bee farm, chickens, and garden.
He is survived by his longtime life partner, Nadine Black; children, Adrienne Black (Brett Huff), Kara Black, CJ Swainson (Tamara Allison), Steven Swainson (Janel Banks), and Michelle Black-Swainson (Riley Holzhausen); father, Christy Swainson (Sallie); mother, Verna Scott (Tom); brothers, Ron Swainson (Kelly), Jeff Swainson (Jodi), and Tommy Scott (Robin Perry Lowdermilk); grandchildren, Mason Huff, Isabella Powers, Tyler Huff, Ava Powers, Zane Powers, Logan Turnbow, and Alexis Huff; brothers-in-law, Raymond Black and William Black (Cindy Woodworth); sister-in-law, Jennifer Johnson; father-in-law, Ray Black; and numrous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews..
Charlie was preceded in death by granparents, Clarence and Merle Swainson and Anton and Margaret Kronberger; mother-in-law, Connie Black; brother-in-law, Greg Johnson; aunt, Jean Wilson; uncles, Mike Miller and Bill Swainson; and a nephew, Josh Hegel.
A celebration of Charlie’s life and potluck will be Sunday, January 8th, 1:00 p.m., at the American Legion Post 6.
