Charles (Charlie) Jackson, 87, passed away on March 19, 2016 in Cheyenne, WY.
Charlie was born to Carl and Blanch Jackson in Brooklyn, New York on May 19, 1928. He graduated High School and joined the Merchant Marines, which he dearly loved and grew fond of sailing ships. Throughout his life he ran numbers, taught dancing for the Arthur Murry dance company, he sailed a ship through the Panama Canal. He later joined the Air Force, married and had four children and traveled the world. He eventually settled in Cheyenne working a short time for the V A. He later retired from the Post Office where he met his current wife Irene, with whom he has one child, Kirsten. He is proceeded in death by both his parents, and step son Dominique. He is survived by his wife Irene, his five children Roy, Sonia, and Robert Jackson and Lynn Rice, all of Colorado, and Kirsten Jackson of Cheyenne Wyoming.
