Charles L. Cooper, 89, of Cheyenne died December 13th at the VA Medical Center.
He was born February 8, 1928 in Salida, Colorado.
Charles proudly served in the U.S. Marines. He was a member of the Lutheran Church and Elks Lodge. He had many hobbies and interests throughout life, including jewelry making, billiards, water-skiing, handball, snowmobiling, stock cars, gold trading and watching football.
He is survived by eight children, Charles, Daniel, Anne, Constance, Kent, Douglas, Margaret, and David; nineteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Cooper; parents, Elmer and Margaret Cooper and eight siblings, Floyd, Marion, May, Ellen, Margaret, Elmer, George and Daniel.
Services will be 9:00 a.m., Friday, January 5th at King of Glory Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m., at the Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
