Charles “Chuck” Sanderson, 75, of Cheyenne, passed away after a long battle with cancer on November 30 at the Cheyenne VA Medical Center.
Chuck was born May 8, 1943 in Tecumseh, Michigan to Leona Sweet Sanderson and Clifford Sanderson.
Chuck served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He worked many years as a tour bus driver and traveled all over the country. After he retired, he did repairs for Albertsons. He was a talented carpenter who enjoyed working with wood.
He is survived by his companion, Sandra Stallock and her children, Jim (Lisa) of Minnesota, and Bob (Stacy) and Lori (Kellie), all of Cheyenne and their children; his children, Amy and Todd; sisters, Shirley Piehl and Ruth (Ralph) Meyers of Michigan; brother-in-law, Gordon Barnes of Nevada and numerous nephews and a niece.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Marion Barnes and nephew, Randy Piehl.
Chuck was a kind, good-hearted man and will be greatly missed.
