Charles H. Bostron, 81, lifelong Cheyenne resident, died Monday, November 21, 2016 at Davis Hospice Center.
He was born March 30, 1935 to Henry H. and Henrietta (Bade) Bostron. Chuck as he was called all his life is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dona. Daughter, Sheryl L. (Rob) Knight, four grandsons, Christopher E. (Marnee) Garcia, Charles E. (Bridgett) Garcia, Mark A. Nave, and Derek R. (Catrina) Nave. Two step- grandchildren, Hunter M. (Anna) Knight and Hailee Knight, six great- grandchildren, Kyadawn and Ezra Garcia, Mabel Garcia, Kaeden Nave and Audrianna Nave, Zaden Aldrich and four step-great- grandchildren, Caylee and Cirra Knight and Audrianna Coler and Lilly Garduno, two sisters, Elizabeth Carrico of Alaska and Patricia Hickman of Washington, two brothers, Larry Bostron of Washington and Gerald Bostron of Cheyenne, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Ed and Donald Bostron ,and two infant brothers.
Charles worked for the Burlington Northern Railroad for over 42 years. Was in the Army Guard for six years. His hobbies included refurbishing bamboo fishing poles, all kinds of woodwork, gardening and care of a beautiful yard, flea marketing, hunting and fishing. He taught his grandchildren many things including fly tying and fly fishing, he was also very involved with his great-grandchildren, they were all the apple of his eye.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Interment will follow at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
