Cecelia Ann Wade, 76, of Cheyenne, WY, passed away on December 11th in Cheyenne. She was born to Cecil and Rose Wentz in Sheridan, WY on November 29, 1942. The family moved to San Diego, CA where she attended high school and college. She met Jim and was engaged for a year while he was receiving electronics, radar, and Hawk Missile training. Cecelia continued attending two years at San Diego State College majoring in Business. A year after their wedding, Jim was transferred to Okinawa and South Vietnam. Cecelia and Jim have two sons, Joe and Martin; two granddaughters, Madison and Lindsey; and one great-granddaughter, Mariel. Cecelia worked as a bookkeeper in Longmont, CO at Best Top, which later moved her to Broomfield. She continued bookkeeping for a department store in Austin, TX, and years later, at churches in Loveland and Dubois, Wyoming. She enjoyed working with girls’ groups in church and in later years, took up jewelry making, which produced many gifts. Cecelia is survived by her husband, sons, cousins in Sheridan, and by a sister, Beverly Suiter from North Carolina. Services will be held at Destiny Church in Cheyenne on Monday December 17th, at 10AM. Interment will follow at Beth El Cemetery. Expressions of care can be sent to
