Cathrin Fryer Warby, 93 of Cheyenne passed away peacefully at Davis Hospice Center. She was born on February l5t, 1929 in Detroit, Oregon to Tessa Maud Despain and Thomas Robins Fryer. Cathrin was known for her kind and gentle spirit and would help anywhere she was needed. She was very artistic; painted landscapes, sewed quilts and Easter dresses, embroidered, decorated cakes, and arranged flowers. She was proud of her large family and her work for her church. She taught Sunday school, loved watching little kids in the nursery and working with the women's organization.
She is survived by her children, Thomas Warby, Helen Evenson, David Warby, Linda Warby, and Jayne Gilday; brother, Zealand Fryer; sister, Alice Zurcher; 21 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Earl Warby; daughter, Cathrin Marian Warby; brothers, Elmo Fryer, William Fryer, Donald Fryer,and her sister Tessa Fryer. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lincolnway Chapel. Interment to follow at Beth El Cemetery.
