Catherine A. Potter

October 31, 1952 — August 13, 2018

Catherine Ann Potter [Wilson], born October 31, 1952, San Antonio, Texas, passed away Monday August 13, 2018. The youngest daughter of four, she was born to USAF LT Col. Billy B. And Peggy Wilson. Cathy lived an adventurous young life. She lived in Germany, Oahu, HI., and Apple Valley, CA; but out of all the places she lived, she always referred to the Rocky Mountains as her home. It was out in Harriman, WY that she with husband Bruce Potter, son D.K, and daughters, Sheridan and Megan, started their own little ranch. While also being a full time mom and a full time rancher, Cathy and Bruce also had their own landscape company, Year Round Landscapes. Cathy was heavily involved within the 4-H and FFA, but in the fall of 1998, she was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. While her ranching activities came quickly to an end, her fight to never quit on life for her children never stopped. Cathy’s battle with MS became tiring after the loss of her oldest daughter Sheridan Potter just February this year. After a long battle of 20 years, Cathy was able to spend her last days at her home with her daughter Megan and husband Bruce. May you rest in heavenly peace.
Cathy was preceded in death by parents Billy B . & Peggy Wilson, and daughter, Sheridan Potter. She is survived by, ex-husband Bruce Potter, son, D.K. Potter {and family} and youngest daughter, Megan Harvey {husband Joseph Harvey}.
Donations to the Sheridan Potter Scholarship at Colorado state University will be accepted. Floral arrangements can be sent to The Potter Family

Funeral Services will be held at Wederspahn-Radomsky Funeral Home, August 25th at 10am. Hawaiian Leis will be given to guests with a prayer card that will be laid to rest with Cathy at their property in Harriman, WY.
