Catherine Jean Harris, 71, of Cheyenne, died on June 18, 2023 in Cheyenne.
She was born on August 19, 1951 in Denver, Colorado.
Catherine was a Casino Floor Runner in Black Hawk, Colorado for several years. Following her years working in the casino’s, she found joy in working with children in a childcare setting, as well as in the mom & baby unit at Exempla hospital in Lafayette. Outside of work, Catherine loved spending time with family and her fur babies. She was happiest when surrounded by her nieces & nephews, and their children.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Harris; sisters-in-law, Luan Chavez & Jane Harris; brothers-in-law, Gerald & (Richard) Harris; and nieces & nephews.
Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her father, Harry Hamm; her mother, Sybil; mother & father in-law, Gerald & Jacqueline Harris; and her sister-in-law, Donna Harris.
Services will be Saturday, 7/22, 1;00 p.m., at Boulder Valley Christian Church, 7100 South Boulder Road, Boulder, Colorado 80303.
