Carrell Von (DeFrance) Cook, 79, died on January 16, 2019.
She was born June 20, 1939 in Rushville, Nebraska to Viva and Don DeFrance and grew up in Gordon, Nebraska.
Carrell received her Bachelor of Business from the Colorado Women’s College and was an Executive Secretary for 4 years at Tenneco Oil Co. in Denver, Colorado.
She married Peter S. Cook II, on August 25, 1964.
Carrell was a 50-year resident of Cheyenne, and was involved in Civic League, Wheels, PTA, Questers, Denim and Diamonds, DePaul Ball, Christmas House and worked at P.S. Cook Plumbing and Heating throughout the years.
Her interests were being a stellar wife, mom and grandmother, interior design, accounting, and organizing and planning events.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Peter S. Cook II.
Carrell is survived by her twin sister, Cherrill DeFrance Cobb (Wayne), her older sister, Wanda DeFrance Hays (Richard); son, Scot Cook (Andrea); grandson, Peter S. Cook III; and her daughter, Ginger Cook Phillips (Michael).
Services will be Monday, 2:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky.
