Carol Cariaso, 90, of Cheyenne, passed away peacefully in her son’s home on November 19, 2017 in Cheyenne.
She was born on October 24, 1927 in Cleveland, New Mexico. Carol married Louis Cariaso on January 10, 1946. She lived in Cheyenne the rest of her life.
Carol was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and was one of the most giving people, having volunteered with many organizations. She also loved to crochet. She worked as a waitress at the Plains Hotel, Downtowner Inn, the Hitching Post and retired from Little America.
Survivors include a son, Fred (Bonnie) Cariaso of Cheyenne; daughter, Charlynn Cariaso of Cheyenne; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Cariaso on March 21, 1988; six siblings, Ernie, Celestino, and Cruz Maes, Della Niola, Jane Penera and Ramona DeHerrera; her parents, Juan and Seforina de la Cruz Maes.
Per her wishes, private family services and burial will take place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
