Carmen C. Lucero, 74, of Cheyenne, died Friday at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
She was born November 19, 1940 in Fort Collins, Colorado and had lived in Cheyenne most of her life.
Carmen was a homemaker who always made everyone who came to her home feel welcome. She loved cooking Mexican food for her family and friends and loved to dance. She was also a member of St. Mary’s Cathedral.
She is survived by her husband, Leroy, Sr., of 55 years; daughter, Tina Lucero; two sons, Leroy Lucero, Jr., and Pablo Lucero all of Cheyenne; grandchildren, Michael and Christopher White, Amanda Pino, Airriella, Alexis, Senaca, Tiara, Leroy III and Zadriann Lucero and Allyesha Hernandez; and 7 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Rita Ann Lucero; her parents, Cruz and Ramona Munoz; four brothers and two sisters.
Vigil for the Deceased will be Friday, 6:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Funeral Liturgy will be Saturday, 10:00 a.m., at St. Mary’s Cathedral with Father Michael Carr as celebrant.
Casket bearers will be Leroy Lucero, Jr., Pablo Lucero, Michael White, Christopher White, Leroy Lucero III and Rudy Apodaca.
Interment will take place in Olivet Cemetery.
