Carl Seward

Carl was born in Wilmington, DE on June 19, 1941. The youngest of 5 children born to William "Bill" and Martha (Conner) Seward. He was preceded in death by his parents; older siblings Billy, Sam, Audrey and Margie; son Mark; and granddaughters Misty and Crystal. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Rovilla (Stutzman) Seward; daughters Robin, Brenda, Tina and Mary (Kirk);16 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews Joyce, Karen, Curtis, Brian and many others. Carl grew up riding horses and tinkering on cars in Delaware. In 1978, the family moved to Southern California, where Carl worked at a job that he loved as a mechanic at a large aircraft division. Carl loved to make people laugh. He always had a joke or prank to bring laughter to the people around him. He laughed harder than anybody at his own jokes. Carl had been sick for quite a while. The last couple of months were rough for him. He tried to prepare us and made his final wishes clear to us.
