Carlyn Earl “Carl” Koester, 74, of LaGrange, Wyoming died on Sunday, May 11, 2014 in Dothan, Alabama.
He was born on January 30, 1940 in Ness City, Kansas and had lived in LaGrange for 20 years.
Carl was a Missionary Pastor and a member of the LaGrange Bible Church. He was a Bible School teacher for over 20 years. Carl was a farmer, a mechanic, and enjoyed gardening and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Ward) Koester, whom he married on May 27, 1967 in Littleton, Colorado; his children, Bill Koester (Kimberly) of Scottsdale, Arizona, Julie Forseen (Darrel) of Mullen, Nebraska, and David Koester (Anikkia) of LaVerkin, Utah; ten grandchildren; and four
great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lillian (Burditt) Koester; and a sister, Henrietta Yaross.
Services will be Friday, 1:00 p.m., at the Frontier School of the Bible Chapel in LaGrange.
Interment will be in the LaGrange Cemetery.
Pallbearers are James Forseen, Travis Woodward, Sean Koester, Dillon Koester, Mark Marshall, and Will Fellows.
