Burton W. “Bill” Dickson, 81, of Cheyenne died June 26 at the Davis Hospice Center.
He was born April 7, 1935 in Sterling, Colorado and had lived here since 1973.
Bill served in the United States Air Force, retiring after 28 years. He then worked for the bowling alley at F.E. Warren for over 20 years.
He was an avid NASCAR fan.
He is survived by his wife, Sonya; children, Richard Dickson of Colorado Springs, Colorado, David (Jenny) Dickson of Kearney, Nebraska, Terry (Andrea) Altman of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Kathleen (Brian) Yost of Denver, Colorado and Tracy Dlerma of Cheyenne; siblings, Jerry Dickson, Dale Dickson, and Rosetta Fulmer; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Bill was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ellen Hewitt; parents, Ross and Mamie Dickson; and a grandchild.
Life Commemoration services will be 3:00 p.m., Wednesday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
