Brian Kent Connell, 80 of Cheyenne, died Wednesday, January 18, 2017 in Cheyenne.
He was born March 8, 1936 in Muskegon, Michigan and lived here since 1967.
Brian served in the USAF. He later worked as a civilian contractor repairing helicopters in Vietnam. He was a truck driver for Consolidated Freightways and Ringsby. Brian was a very hard worker; extremely selfless person. He donated over thirty gallons of blood, was a Mopar enthusiast, and avid rock collector. After retirement, he and Mary traveled the world extensively. His wife, kids, and Grandkids were his whole world. He was especially proud of his three grandsons in the US Navy.
He is survived by his wife Mary, whom he married on December 27, 1958 in Muskegon; daughter, Mary Beth Crips (Paul); son, John Connell (Gwendolyn); three brothers, Terrence (Harriet), Alex (Luann), and Robert (Lois) Connell; four grandchildren, Joshua and Andrew (Lauren) Crips, Steven Connell, and Quent Russell; great-granddaughter, Miranda Russell; and great-great-grandson, Traelyn Reddell.
He was preceded in death by his brother Timothy in 1965; sister, Helen Bolema; and parents, Thomas and Grace Connell.
Cremation is under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
