Brian James Bailey, 47, of Cheyenne, died March 26, at his home in Cheyenne. Brian fought a long, hard battle to ALS.
He was born July 11, 1970, in Cheyenne, to David John Bailey and Sandra Jean Lundy Bailey. He was the middle child of three. He graduated from East High School and Phoenix Institute of Technology in “Design and Production Art Specialist”.
Brian lived in Arizona, Montana, Texas, Florida, California, and Colorado. He worked for Sprint, Midway Chevrolet dealership, Children’s Hospital and Sam’s Club.
He loved the ocean and loved hiking and biking in the mountains enjoying the beauty of Mother Nature. He had a special gift of touching lives wherever he lived and worked. He will be remembered for his kind, generous and loving spirit. He had a special gift of seeing the good in everyone and was a very forgiving person. He leaves behind footprints of his creativeness expressed in his art work.
Brian is survived by his mother, Sandra Schoneberg; a brother, Paul Bailey of Cheyenne; a sister Jennifer Bailey Dabney (Rick) of California; nephews, Mychal Bailey, Maceo Dabney, Tanis Dabney, and Trevan Dabney of California; nieces Ashlyn Bailey and Payton Bailey of Cheyenne; special friend, Steve Tucker of California; and the Johnson family; Mark, Eva and Chuck of Colorado. He was “Uncle Brian” and “Special Friend” to many families throughout his journey of life.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Perry and Margaret Lundy; Uncle, Dennis Lundy; and step-father, Donald Schoneberg.
A life commemoration service will be at 10a.m. April 14 at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
Placement of his urn will follow at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
