Bradley Dean Bernhardt, 53, of Cheyenne was taken unexpectedly to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 27. He died peacefully in his sleep.
He was born on January 25, 1964, in Cheyenne. He was a devoted and loving son to Robert and Sandra Bernhardt of Cheyenne. Brad was a cherished brother, uncle, son, nephew, cousin, and friend to all who knew him.
His faith in God was the cornerstone of his life. He was a faithful member of Element Church. He worked at Prairie Wind Elementary School as the head custodian where he was adored by staff and students. He graduated from East High School in 1982, attended LCCC, the University of Wyoming, and received a bachelor’s of science degree from Sterling College in Kansas in 1989.
Brad loved and cherished his three black cats. He was an avid Wyoming Cowboy football fan. He loved yard work, watching funny movies, swimming in the ocean, eating good Italian food or anything coconut, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents, Robert and Sandy Bernhardt, Brian Bernhardt (Shelley) of Castle Rock, CO, Jill Prince (Chris), Taylor, Trenton, and Trinity Prince.
He was preceded in death by three loving grandparents, Loretta Hester, Rhineholdt Berhnardt, and Eva Bernhardt.
A Celebration of Brad’s life will be held at Element Church on Friday, November 3rd at 12:00 with Pastor Andy Hazelet officiating. Cremation will take place under the direction of Wiederspahn Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes.
