Billie Harmon Storms, 81, of Cheyenne, died on Sunday, November 3, 2019 in Cheyenne.
He was born on February 4, 1938 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.
Bill proudly served and retired from the U.S. Air Force, where early in his career he met and married Agnes Smith. After retirement he built several businesses including B & B Sewer Service and earned several associate degrees from LCCC.
Bill was involved in building several churches throughout the country, faithfully served on several mission trips and was a charter member of Yellowstone Baptist Church. He was also a member of the American Legion and the Moose Lodge.
He loved UW sports and was infamously known as the “Despicable WYO Fan” due to his gametime exuberance. Bill and Agnes enjoyed travelling and dancing together. He enjoyed playing and watching poker and travelled to many tournaments. Bill also loved hunting and fishing, especially a two-week trip to Canada.
Mr. Storms is survived by his children, Linda Andrews (Mike Andrews), Debbie Storms (John Paul McIntosh), Carol Price (Ronne Price), Robert “Bob” Storms (Crystal Storms), and Sybil Sopr (Mike Sopr); siblings, Lewis Storms, Ezekial Storms, John Storms, and Melinda “Sis” Boothe; eleven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Regina Storms; siblings, David Storms, Norvis Storms, Lotus Dutcher, Laverle Gilder, and Lolita Phillips; an infant daughter, Regina Ann Storms; and his parents, Ezekial and Myrtle Storms.
Visitation will be Thursday, 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
Services will be Friday, 2:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel with burial to follow in Cheyenne Memorial Gardens. A reception will immediately follow the burial at The Gathering Place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Davis Hospice Center.
