Billie J. Hinkle, 87, of Cheyenne, died on Monday, February 6, 2017 at the Life Care Center of Cheyenne.
A loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he was born on May 9, 1929 in Stockton, Missouri and had lived here since 1947.
Mr. Hinkle was a master plumber for Plumbers Local #192 for 46 years and he started working for P.S. Cook at the age of 17. He was an avid antique car collector and was a AACA National Car Judge and president of Oak Spokes. He drove cars and furnished bicycles in the CFD parades. Billie coached Little League baseball and helped build DePaul Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Janis; children, William Hinkle, Ronda Heimsoth (Rick), Casey Hibbs (Terry), and Doreen Clark (Jerry); 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Billie was preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Irene Lowrey; his wife, Elizabeth Hinkle; and a grandson, Bobby Dunivent.
Life Commemoration services will be Saturday, 2:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
