Beverly Thompson, 70, of Cheyenne, passed at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 17, 1954, in Pueblo, Colorado to Pete and Viola Howard.
Beverly was in the accounting department at Christ Machinery and Supply and had an in-home daycare for many years. She loved to sew and used those talents to make Halloween costumes for her children and grandchildren and to make quilts for her family. Beverly also made quilts that were donated to the sheriff's department to give out to the homeless. They were also donated to the Veteran's Hospital. She was an animal lover and collected anything with pigs.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Ed Thompson; daughters, Shannon (Tim) Maycock, Robin Layton; stepson, Kevin Thompson; granddaughters, Alexus, Jamie, Mariah and Makynze; grandsons, Dakota, Bryson, Gavin and Braxton; great granddaughters, Ryleigh and Lennon; great grandsons, Easton and Kaisen; brothers, Donald and Harlon; and sisters Ruth, Patricia, and Bonnie.
Beverly was preceded in death by her father Pete; mother, Viola; and sister, Mary Jane
Services will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 2:00 pm, in Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. A reception will follow at The Gathering Place located across from the chapel.
