Beverly “Bev” Kay Goehring (McCaslin), 80, of Cheyenne passed away at Davis Hospice Center surrounded by her loved ones. She was born February 29, 1944, at her home in Broken Bow, Nebraska to parents James Wesley McCaslin “Wes” and Evelyn Emma McCaslin (Clay).
Throughout her life, Bev exemplified warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to those around her. She was the heart and soul behind a thriving business in downtown Cheyenne; Queen Fashion, where her generosity and welcoming nature left a lasting impression on those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her shop was more than a business, it was a place for gathering; where stories were shared, friendships were forged, and memories were made.
As a devoted mother and grandmother Bev’s love knew no bounds. Her nurturing spirit and boundless affection extended far beyond her own children, encompassing a wide circle of friends and family who were fortunate enough to be embraced by her care. Bev’s home was always filled with laughter, love, and the fond smell of baked goods during the holiday season.
Bev has always found joy in the simple things in life. She was an avid water walker, finding peace and solace in the rhythm of the water. Her love for mystery novels and NCIS has provided countless hours of joy and entertainment. She had found a love of puzzle games, specifically Sudoku from her grandson Caleb, and took part in brain games almost every morning with her cup of coffee.
Bev’s legacy is one of love, kindness and resilience. She touched the lives of many with her generosity, warmth, and support. Her passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew her, but her memory will continue to live on through the countless lives she’s impacted.
She survives her children, Mark (Karen) Goehring and Jolinda (Steve) Foster; 7 grandchildren, Casey (Kalia), Kinzee (Shawn), Preston (Shae) Goehring, Cody, Caleb (Jess), Kayla (Jesse), Ryan Foster and 3 great grandchildren Ella, Kolter, and Palmer Goehring; 3 siblings, Daryl (Jan) McCaslin, Leata Krejci and Audrey Jones. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Wes and Evelyn; four brothers, and three sisters; and her loving husband of 59 years, James “Jim” Goehring.
Beverly’s family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Davis Hospice Center for their dedicated care during her final days. Services will be held Wednesday March 5, 2025, at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel at 9:30AM, followed by Interment at Cheyenne National Cemetery at 11:00 and Reception at The Masonic Lodge in Burns, WY.
