Beverly Collins, 80, of Cheyenne, died on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at the Davis Hospice Center.
Bev was born on October 7, 1934 in Visalia, California and had lived here for 42 years.
She was a housewife and a teacher. Beverly was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and was an avid reader and terrific cook.
Mrs. Collins is survived by her husband, James Collins of Cheyenne; a son, Patrick Collins (Judy) of Cheyenne; three daughters, Kathleen Speck (John) of St. Charles, Illinois, Maureen Phair (Gordon) of Denver, Colorado, and Colleen Stauffacher (Steve) of Elgin, Illinois; a sister, Shirley Martin of Fresno, California; six grandchildren, Sean Collins, Mallory Speck, Jac Collins, Connor Speck, Kyle Stauffacher, and Stephanie Simon; and one great-granddaughter, MacKenzie Brotherton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Florence (Arnold) Hatfield; and a brother, Gene Hatfield.
Funeral Liturgy will be on Tuesday, 11:00 a.m., at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Interment will be in Olivet Cemetery.
