Barry Reece Sanders was born in Oak Harbor, WA on June 22, 1954 at the Whidbey Island Naval Base. He left this earthly realm on April 26, 2021 at Davis Hospice in Cheyenne, WY heading to the Kingdom of Heaven. Barry had a rare genetic disorder called Hemochromatosis which effected his liver, pancreas, heart, etc. Barry is survived by his mother Kathleen; sister Kitty (Anthony) Lucero; sister Tracey (Paul) Homburg; nieces Breana (Tyrell) Garton; and Sarah Campbell; nephews Daniel (Sydney) Lucero; & Paul Homburg IV; his roommate Dave and many more family & friends. He was preceded in death by his Dad, MD Frank Sanders; Grandparents; & other family members. Barry attended schools in Cheyenne and served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was employed with Burlington Northern Railroad and retired with over 30 years in 2014. He enjoyed traveling; fishing; hiking; camping; golfing, skiing, etc. Barry loved life, he loved people and had a very giving heart! He was a big Colorado Rockies & Wyoming Cowboys/girls fan - and supporter of the Cowboy Joe Club & PBS. In lieu of flowers, you can do acts of kindness to those in need; or give a donation either to:
