Barbara Ann Patterson, 77, of Cheyenne, died on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at the Davis Hospice Center.
She was born on July 8, 1939 in Rockbridge County, Virginia and had lived in Cheyenne since 1973.
Barbara retired as a social worker from Stride Learning Center. She enjoyed gardening, collecting, and reading.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Carrel L. Patterson, whom she married June 25, 1960; two daughters, Donna Rose (Jeff) and Debbie McVeigh (Buck); four grandchildren, Christopher Patterson (Kati), Cameron Karajanis (Olivia Sanchez), Lindsey Lund (Nate), and Kyle Karajanis (Kaylyn Bales); and three great-grandchildren, Jackson and Cody Patterson, and Brentley Karajanis.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Saunders and Georgie Ferguson (Best); stepfather, Samuel Ferguson, and a granddaughter, Karissa Karajanis.
Life Commemoration services will be Saturday, 2:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
