Barbara Curran, 85, of Cheyenne, passed peacefully on January 28, 2021.
Barbara Sue was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to Frank and Clare Pysklo on November 30, 1935. Later the family moved to Cheyenne where she graduated from St. Mary's High School. Barbara was part of a group of women who became pen pals with servicemen stationed overseas during the Korean War. This is how she met the love of her life, William "Bill". They fell in love and the rest is history. Barbara and Bill were married for 66 years until his recent passing. Togehter they had four children: Linda, William "Patrick", Michael, and Peggy.
Barbara worked as a secretary for different firms in Cheyenne. She was active in the Cheyenne Doll Club. Her many interests included antiques which led her and her husband to own and Operate Golden Key Antiques in Cheyenne.
She is survived by siblings, Frank "Butch" Pysklo, and Linda Fredrick; her sons, Patric Curran (Sandy) and Mike Curran (Jeanette); her daughter, Peggy Kenyon (Kenneth; eight grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill; her daughter, Linda; and one grandchild.
At the family's request there will be no memorial service at this time.
