Augustine Richard Lopez, 95 of Cheyenne passed away at 5:00 am February 12, 2017.
He was a mechanic and a sharpshooter who served 12 years for the Army. He loved to spend time with his family and eat good food along with dancing and competing in dance contests. Augustine loved family so much that he, on multiple occasions, took in foster children throughout the years. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for 35 years, retiring in 1984. He is survived by his children; Susan Lopez, Claire Pino, Augustine Lopez Jr., Valente Lopez, and Justina Lopez. Grandchildren; Deena Dunlop, Alicia Smith, Christine Dunbar, Allen Gene Pino, Jasmine Pino, Michael Hughes, Roddy Lopez, Saria Lopez, Augustine Lopez III. Great Grandchildren; Darian Lesley, Trey Lesley, Trevin Lesley, Katelyn Smith, Hannah Smith, John Edwards Dunbar, Christopher Dunbar. He is also survived by a Brother; George Lopez
Funeral services will be held at Restoration Fellowship International on February 23, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Dinner to follow.
He was deeply loved and will be missed.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
