Arthur Carmen Olcott, 90, of Cheyenne passed away peacefully on August 13, 2014 at the VA Medical Center nursing home where he was lovingly cared for by the entire staff of the VA.
He brought joy to all who knew him.
Arthur is survived by his daughter, Deborah (Jeff) Madden of Cheyenne; grandchildren, Ashley Marie (Roger) Santos, Adella Gene (Dylan) Lawrence and Charlie (Krisy) Madden; four great-grandchildren; sister, Janet (Olcott) Rhodes and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva “Gene” Eatmon Olcott; parents, Arthur and Esther (Anderson) Olcott; four brothers, Frank, Byron, Robert, and Donald and a sister, Norma Stevens.
Arthur served in WWII as a Seabee. Later, after his service to our country, he was a carpenter.
Life Commemoration services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel with Chaplain Delbert Hansen officiating.
Honorary bearers will be James Evans, Elijah, Joshua, Raleigh, and Arius.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
