Arlo Lee Sanchez, 68, of Cheyenne, died on Saturday, August 2, 2014 in Newport, Tennessee.
He was born on December 6, 1945 in Cheyenne and had lived here most of his life.
Arlo was a jack of all trades and enjoyed making things with his hands, including stained glass. He also liked to fish and hunt.
He is survived by his wife, Susan (Haag) Sanchez, whom he married on June 11, 1988 in Mineral Wells, Texas; his children, Kristina, Joseph, and Kimberly Sanchez, all of Cheyenne, and Arlo Sanchez, Jr. and Jana Marie; two brothers, Julian “Sonny Sanchez of Denver, Colorado, and Neal “Henry” Sanchez of Evans, Colorado; and a sister, Grayce Jiminez of Denver.
Mr. Sanchez was preceded in death by two sisters, Sylviana Aria and Joy Sutton; and his parents, Joseph and Velma (Fields) Sanchez.
Vigil for the Deceased will be Thursday, 7:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
Funeral Liturgy will be Friday, 10:30 a.m., at St. Mary’s Cathedral with Father Thomas George as the celebrant.
Interment will be in Olivet Cemetery.
