Arlan E. Walter, 69, of Cheyenne died Thursday May 26 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
He was born January 18, 1947 in Kearney, Nebraska.
Arlan was an audiologist and owned Cheyenne Hearing Clinic.
He was a world traveler, a professional scuba diver, and enjoyed skiing. He participated in the Therapy Dogs program with his wolf hounds and donated his time doing hearing screenings at the VA, STRIDE Learning Center and for organizations in Ecuador. He also enjoyed participating in car shows.
Arlan is survived by his children, Brandie (David) Whisenhunt and Stacey (Wendy Cooper) Walter, all of Cheyenne; sister, Gaylene Williams of Denver; eight grandchildren, Tyler, Miryssa, and Zakery Whisenhunt, Tristan and Anthony Walter, Damian Pinkley, Ashley Rose Cooper, and Jordan Brocius; niece, Alana Cosper and nephew, Scot Craig.
He was preceded by his parents, Raymond and Velva Walter.
Viewing will be Friday, 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
Services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
