Antonio “Tony” George Morrissette, 77, of Cheyenne passed October 26th in Natchez, MS.
He was born January 19, 1940 in Manchester, NH. His family moved to Denver in 1949 where Tony finished school and enlisted in the Marines at age 17, later joining the Navy.
He installed carpets in the Denver area for years. After retiring he moved to Cheyenne, where he volunteered at the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center for seventeen years.
He is survived by a brother, Robert Morrissette of Denver; sister, Violet Humphries of Santee, CA; twelve nieces and nephews and his best friend, Gayle Krahling.
Tony was preceded by two brothers, Paul and Richard Morrissette.
Tony enjoyed traveling, working on jigsaw puzzles, the Broncos and going for coffee at McDonald’s. He was a kind and caring man.
Services 2:00 p.m., Thursday at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Burial will take place at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
