Anthony P. “Tony” James, 68, of Cheyenne, died June 22nd at Davis Hospice Center.
He was born October 30, 1947 in Cheyenne and had lived here all of his life.
Tony was a network technician for Qwest Communications for over 30 years.
He was member of the Cheyenne Artist Guild, TelCom Pioneers and a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed metal detecting and photography. He won several awards for his photography through the years.
Tony is survived by his wife, Dianna “Dee” James; two step-daughters and their children; brother, Lawrence (Kathryn) James; sister, Phyllis Record; nephew, Paul V. James; niece, Stacey Higgins and sister-in-law, Terry (Danny) Perry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie and Doris James; brother, David James and a nephew, Maurice Record.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 7th, at Rugged Cross Chapel at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
