Anthony James “Tony” Long, 50, of Cheyenne, died on Saturday, May 21, 2016.
He was born on July 20, 1965 in Grand Forks, North Dakota and had lived here since 2000.
Tony was a fiber optics splicer and owned Optec Communications. He loved Harley Davidson motorcycles, his projects, and going to the mountains. Tony loved his family, grandkids, and helping people in need. He had a huge heart.
Tony is survived by his wife, Jacque Long, whom he married on September 10, 1999 in Mandan, North Dakota; three daughters, Brandi Bristow, Heather Gibson, and Alexandria Smith; siblings, Christopher (Deborah) Long and Steven (Denn) Long, Margaret Anne (William) Peckham and Shannon (Ryan) Liem; nine grandchildren, Myah, Danny, Raeanna, Ethan, Easton, Gunner, Gavin, Sophia, and Nevaeh; his biological father, Dallas Long; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dyarl and Margaret Lackey.
A Celebration of Life will be Friday, 5:30 p.m., at 8402 Cowboy Road. A memorial service will be Saturday, 2:00 p.m., at the David Romero Community Center.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
