Ann Nelson peacefully passed away with family by her side on November 1, 2022. She was born January 18, 1950, in Denver, Colorado to Clarence and Elsie (Burnham) Pedrini. She attended Cheyenne public schools, graduated from Central High School in 1968 and the University of Wyoming.
She married the love of her life, Alan Nelson on June 7, 1980, In Cheyenne, Wyoming.
She worked for the State of Wyoming for 25 years, retiring as the Research Historian in the Parks and Curatorial Resources Department.
She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi since 1970 with her last chapter being Lambda Master.
She was a life member of the National Rifle Association and was a referee for 20 years. She also got to enjoy being a line referee for several years at Camp Perry in Ohio. She was also a life member of the Wyoming State Shooting Association and a life member of the Cheyenne Rifle and Pistol Club.
She is survived by her husband, Alan Nelson; son’s, Ernest (Lisa) Nelson, and Everett (Lacey) Nelson; and her 5 grandchildren, Letha, Vance and Everett Jr, Dylan and Landon.

A viewing will be on Tuesday from 9-12:00 p.m., with a Service to follow at 2:00 p.m., and both are at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel with the interment to follow at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
